Return Policy

 
If you are not happy with your purchase, we would love the opportunity to rectify the situation.  

 

Please note, refunds and exchanges must be raised with us and returned to us within 30 days of the date your purchase was received by you.

 

Please follow the steps below:

 

1) Immediately e-mail customerservice@crazyplace.com.au.

     a) Advise us in the e-mail of your reason for requesting a refund/exchange

     b) If the item is faulty or damaged, we require you to advise us immediately upon receipt. Claims for damages after events will not be recognised.

     c) If the item is faulty or damaged, we require you to not attempt any repairs - please contact us before making any repairs to changes to any purchased item.

     d) If the item is faulty or damaged, we may ask for pictures.  These pictures help us when we deal with the delivery company and / or our suppliers. 

     e) Include any reference information for your purchase (e.g. tax invoice number, account e-mail address).  You may wish to use the contents of the order confirmation e-mail you receive from us when you purchased item(s) from us.

 

2) We will respond to your request e-mail within 24 hours and advise of the outcome of your request.

 

3) Unless an item is damaged or faulty, we do not cover the costs of returning the item to us.

 

4) Unless an item is damaged or faulty, we do not refund the original shipping costs when you purchased the item.

 

5) If you are returning your item for a 'change of mind / party cancellation' etc, we reserve the right to offer a store credit only.

 

6) If you are exchanging a costume or clothing item due to a sizing or style issue, we do not charge postage to send the new item to you.  We will do this once only, within Australia only - This offer is not available for International customers or items sold for sale prices.

 

7) All refunds and/or exchanges are processed once we receive the returned items.  When returning items to us, please ensure you address it correctly to us and also keep a copy of your tracking number. Please note that no refunds are paid or exchanges processed until items are returned. If items are returned with missing 'bits' (eg gloves, belt) we will contact you and hold the return until all 'bits' are received. 

 

8) When returning an item, you must include all accessories that came with the item, and the original packaging that it came with.

 

9) Include a note in the packaging advising of your name and the details of the exchange (e.g. returning medium, would like a large).  You may wish to include a printed copy of your tax invoice or order with the reason written on it by hand.

 

10) All refunds and exchanges are processed on the same day as the return item is received by us. If you are posting the item to us, please remember to:

Address your parcel (seriously!)
Keep your tracking number
Sign the declaration when shipping your parcel 
Include all items in your parcel 
Include a note with your name and details of the return (eg returning a Large, please exchange for a Medium)

 

11) We do not accept Returns if items have been worn, used, soiled or broken.
